Diamond Lake is a 400 acre lake located in Dayton MN. The maximum depth of Diamond Lake is 8 feet. There is a public landing at the SE corner of the lake with room for 2 cars with boat trailers. Diamond Lake is a wonderful lake for canoeing or kayaking as it is small and picturesque.

There is one neighborhood on the North side of Diamond Lake on Lawndale and 138th St called Westphals Diamond Lake addition. Most of the homes in this neighborhood were build in the late ’60s and early ’70s. The majority of homes outside of this neighborhood on the lake are acreage homes, farms or horse ranches.

The Westphals Diamond Lake neighborhood is in the Elk River School district. There are a couple lots on the North West side of the lake also in the Elk River School District.
