What you should hang on your walls when selling your home.

We have talked about removing the family photos, but what should you hang on the walls when you are getting your home ready for the market?  We don't want you to have blank walls, so here are some ideas that highlight the home and even the neighborhood or surroundings.

There are some baby photos here, but they are not distracting to this beautiful room.

Take a look at this collection of photos from a home that was across the street from Lake Calhoun/ BDE Maka Ska in Minneapolis:

This wall of photos includes old photos of the house and pictures of Minneapolis, the Lake and surrounding area.  While it may be a bit distracting, it does it for all the right reasons, perfectly telling the story of the home and neighborhood.

Any thing you hang on the walls should promote the home positively and match the "feel" of the room.  Choose pictures that speak to you emotionally.
